Security Fee Collection (Sept-Dec 2012)

RA will be making arrangements to collect Security Fees for month Sept-Dec 2012 (RM240) starting from 1 September 2012. The Cheque should be addressed toACACIA PUTERI 7. Please remember to write your name, house no (XX, 7/X), contact number and RA account number 31529 22436 on the reverse side of the cheque.

Once again, we appeal to your kind cooperation to make the payments as early as possible. However, if fellow members still fail to do so due to extenuating circumstances, then we have no other option but to knock at your doors for the payment.

Greetings! We are proud to invite you and your family to the MPSJ "Majlis Mesra Rakyat" gathering of our JKP Zone 16. This event is a gathering of representatives from your respective areas to get to know your local MPSJ Councillor in charge of JKP Zone 16 and also the members of the local JKP (Jawatankuasa Penduduk).

We will also be inviting our Member of Parliament YB Gobind Singh Deo, YB Teresa Kok, Assemblywoman for Kinrara, YB Dato Dr Hj Mohd Satim, Assemblyman for Seri Serdang  as well as other senior officials of MPSJ to this important activity. During this time we hope you will get to know each other and also to explore possible cooperation activities to further improve our Zone 16 in terms of standard of community living and its environment. There will be a Q & A session attended by representatives of MPSJ’s Infrastructure, Landscape, Engineering and Enforcement Departments during the event.

There will be children games, clown and magic shows, health checks and distribution of free vitamins, free food and drinks as well as Question and Answers that you can seek answers from the officials of MPSJ.

Tree Cutting & Trim by MPSJ

Further to the RA request to MPSJ Landscape Department to trim those overgrown trees with some menacing overhanging branches in the taman, their contractor had started work since the morning of 25th June 2012. It is with hope that residents can now park their cars, doing their morning walk or exercise and etc without fear of fallen tree branches. The RA and residents of Acacia Puteri 7 would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Pn. Azlina for her effort and follow-up.

RecycleWhiz Competition

One of our highlights is the RecycleWhiz Competition exclusively designed for the Residents’ Committees (RCs) under the IOI Townships. All collections from this competition will be donated to charities. The RCs who are interested may submit their participations (please refer to attachment for info) to our Customer Relations Unit by 15th June 2012. So start recycling now and help to save Mother Nature! As a bonus, the Top 3 RCs which collects the most recyclable items will be rewarded with attractive prizes.

Kids' Coloring Contest

Kids are encouraged to show-off their coloring talent while celebrating for Mother Nature. The contest will come in two age categories i.e. 4-6 and 7-9 years old. Those who are interested may submit their children’s participation (please refer to attachment for info) to our Customer Relations Unit by 15th June 2012. Hurry-up as participation is limited!

ACACIA PUTERI 7: GOTONG-ROYONG 2012

TIME FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

& TO MAKE OUR TAMAN A CLEAN PLACE TO STAY!

Date: 17 June 2012 (Sun)

Time: 8.30am - 12.00noon

Venue: Gather at playground

**Recycling activities of resources will also held on the same day, details please refer to Tzu Chi flyer.

- Fellow residents participating in this event will be entitle to a pair of gloves and mosquito larvicide powder from MPSJ as a small token of support. Mineral water will be also provided. While stocks last.

- Fellow residents can bring along their own spades and gardening tools. JKP Zone 16 will be also provide us the cleaning tools to make our beautification program a very successful one.

- MPSJ will be station "Big Container Bin" beside the playground on the day of Gotong-Royong. Residents who want to dump their discarded materials such as old furniture, broken flower pots, electrical item, computer, printer, mattress, tyre, shrub and etc (EXCEPT for decaying food and construction debris) please wait for MPSJ truck who will carry out house to house collection on Sunday morning.

- TZU CHI was invited to come to our taman to participate in sorting out the recycle items. Residents are advice to classify the recycle items before sending to the volunteer members from Tzu Chi at playground. What materials will be and will not be collected for recycling? Please refer to the attached flyer by TZU CHI. 

THINGS YOU CAN DO DURING GOTONG-ROYONG?

1. Clean and tidy the whole playground

2. Cut and trim the tree branches around the playground

3. Cut and trim the tree branches around the taman

4. Remove the garbage from the taman

5. Clean & tidy the back lanes

6. House to house collection by MPSJ truck

8. Fogging by MPSJ in the evening (*subject to change without notice)

Please wake up early on Sunday morning. Bring along your family members and children to participate as a social responsibility! See you there!

3 puppies being found abandoned at children playground

RA has received complaints from residents who has discovered 3 puppies being found abandoned in a box at children playground on 30th April 2012 which suspected to be one of our Acacia Puteri 7 residents. Luckily this "good samaritan" resident have rescued them or else they would have died out in the open or even being run over by cars. Eventually these puppies have been adopted by others after the said kind hearted resident posted on Facebook and called out to SPCA. RA condemn these cruel acts by irresponsible residents. The playground is not a place for residents to throw unwanted stuff!!! Whoever known where these puppies come from can lodge a report to RA by email to acacia.puteri7@yahoo.com or inform any of our committee members, thank you."
